Heron’s Key, resort-style Life Plan Community located in Gig Harbor, along with seven other senior living communities are hosting a two-day exclusive touring event. Participants can choose to join on Wednesday, September 27, Thursday, September 2 or reserve a seat for both days. Wednesday’s itinerary focuses mainly on Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. Thursday will include touring Life Plan continuum care retirement communities, Not For Profits, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing. Each day will begin at 9:45 a.m and go until 3 p.m. Participants can either utilize the community van to drive from place to place or use their own transportation. During the tour, participants will hear presentations, ask their questions and tour eight communities including Heron’s Key, Cogir at the Narrows, Eliseo, Franke Tobey Jones, GenCare—Point Ruston, Merrill Gardens—Tacoma, Merrill Gardens at Wright Park, and Weatherly Inn.
