The Gig Harbor BoatShop preserves, interprets, and perpetuates Gig Harbor's historic working waterfront and the traditional small boatyard and Northwest maritime heritage. Located at the historic Eddon Boatyard site, GHB advances this mission through the teaching of traditional and contemporary skills inherent in the building, repair and use of sailboats, powerboats, commercial boats and small craft that the vanishing family operated boatyards of the Northwest have traditionally served.
