About
Nestled on the western shores of Washington's Puget Sound, the Gig Harbor Peninsula has long been a magnet for artists and writers. Deep forests and shorelines rich with wildlife – coupled with breathtaking views of Mount Rainier and an historic fishing village atmosphere – offer an endless, ever-changing source of imagery and inspiration.
For nearly three decades the Peninsula Art League has supported and nurtured the area's diverse artistic community. Today, PAL's membership includes artists who work in every imaginable medium – painters, sculptors, photographers, potters, jewelry designers, calligraphers, glass and fiber artists – even writers. Many are professionals. For others, art is a soul-satisfying hobby. We also have patron members who don't create art themselves, but are dedicated art supporters and promoters.
Whether you're new to our area or a long-time resident longing to re-connect with our local art community, PAL welcomes you.
Please join us!
Meetings are held at the United Methodist Church, 7400 Pioneer Way, Gig Harbor on the 4th Tuesday of each month -
